Think of servicing your garage door like servicing your car. You might get away with not doing it for a period of time, but it could be costly in the long run.
If the door is heavy for you to lift then the motor will struggle too. It may need a service.
If your door is older than 2 years then you should consider getting a service.
Because there are so many moving parts, if something is out of place it can cause problems.
With roller doors, make sure you keep the tracks clean and free from oil, dirt and grease. Only use silicon spray to lubricate the tracks. Don’t use oil or grease based liquids like WD-40 or RP7.
